Project Overview:

Discovery of new materials requires development of the modern technological system for material production. New promising process for the manufacture nano and micro particles of powder-coating is based on CPCSP (Continuous Powder Coating Spraying Process). This continuously operated process is now applicable to new and conventional materials and allows coatings with improved properties. Using strong, steep gradient magnetic field makes it possible to investigate the influence of magnetizing force on low magnetic susceptibility materials and the influence on material structure. New process can be applicable to powder-coating fast-reacting and high-viscous chemical compounds of ceramic materials, polymers and metals.

The research topic will involve various fields of science and technology which are promising in the 21st century. In the project the Host institution will connect potential of multidisciplinary researchers as the best way to solve the problem. Joined knowledge and experience of researchers from many fields will be introduced to enhance local scientific potential in the field of: material engineering, high pressure, temperature and very high magnetic field, chemical engineering and numerical modelling of multiphase flow. Researchers from different scientific centres will greatly influence expected results which could be very innovative and unconventional approach. The project will give possibility for transfer of knowledge to Host institution and for training experienced local staff members in foreign laboratories to improve their scientific and technical skills.
